Under the title “Foresight – Strategies for Tomorrow’s Society”, the Alfred Herrhausen Society has launched a series of conferences dedicated to socio-political issues of the future. With responsible foresight, the Alfred Herrhausen Society intends to provide a forum to develop strategies for tomorrow’s society and call for a commitment to creating a better future. Furthermore, it seeks to initiate forward-looking thinking, above and beyond the constraints of special interest groups and political taboos.
Within this context, a special topic of discussion is currently the generation in their forties, considering that these are the people who will increasingly be taking on responsibility in the media and in politics.

The “Foresight” conference series has been organized in cooperation with national and international media partners.
